Tom Glavine pitched 9 strong innings as the Columbus Crowd defeated the Dublin
Pubcrawlers 9 to 1 at the ballpark.
Columbus took the lead for good in the 2nd inning scoring 4 runners on 3 hits.
That scoring would be all that was needed. Columbus totaled 12 on the
afternoon.
The win was credited to Glavine(11-7) who went the whole way allowing 1 run.
Ramon Ortiz(3-3) was the loser. 'He was moving it around and spotting it
very well.' Adam Smith said. Glavine pitched a great game. He deserves all
the credit.'
